This December, the Ars Electronica Center invites visitors to use the Christmas season for new discoveries — with a two-day family program themed Winter Wondermagic and a virtual journey to some of Austria’s significant altarpieces.

In 2025, three important international composers celebrated their 90th birthdays: Kurt Schwertsik from Austria, Terry Riley from the US, and Arvo Pärt from Estonia. All three have left their mark on 20th-century music history with their musical signature and continue to shape the music of our time with their inspiring works. Ars Electronica will honor them on November 9 with a special Deep Space concert entitled Pianographique – 3 x 90.

ESERO Austria will take part in World Space Week and present a diverse space-themed program at the Ars Electronica Center. On October 4 and 5, children and their families can enjoy galactic open workshops and guided tours, as well as attend Deep Space 8K presentations that journey all the way to Mars and the ISS.
