Virtual Crib in 3D / Ars Electronica Futurelab (AT) / Ars Electronica
More than a hundred years after being exhibited for the first time, the crib figures in the Mariendom in Linz have now been carefully restored and then, for the first time, scanned by the Ars Electronica Futurelab using photogrammetry and were restaged as an interactive and audiovisual experience for the Mariendom and the Ars Electronica Center's Deep Space 8K.
Photo showing, from left to right: Maximilian Strasser (Prelate of the Mariendom), Stefan Mittlböck-Jungwirth (Ars Electronica Futurelab) and Petra Weiss (Federal Monuments Authority, Upper Austria).
In the course of Ars Electronica Home Delivery, the virtual Crib was presented at Deep Space LIVE.
