Dive musically and visually into the world of Anton Bruckner and explore his unique sound worlds interactively. With “Playing Anton” in the Ars Electronica Center’s Deep Space 8K, you’re not just a listener but become part of the orchestra itself. Thanks to state-of-the-art interaction technology, you can recreate the various instrumental groups of the Bruckner Orchester Linz together with others and experience the musical and compositional aspects of Bruckner’s music as impressive 3D visualizations. The innovative Playing Anton application was developed at the Ars Electronica Futurelab on the occasion of Bruckner’s 2024 anniversary year.
