We are living in the midst of a dramatic transformation of everyday life and society brought about by the digital revolution – producing vast amounts of data. Data science and data scientists are becoming increasingly important. The Ars Electronica Futurelab, in collaboration with Toyota Coniq Alpha in Japan, envision Data Art & Science, a new interdisciplinary field incorporating artistic perspectives for future transformation based on data science.
